As part of its move to university status, Limestone has adopted the marketing mantra "The University of Choice in South Carolina."
On the surface, that phrase indicates that of all the universities from across the Palmetto State, Limestone stands above the crowd as an accredited, independent, coeducational, Christian non-denominational four-year liberal arts institution chartered by the state of South Carolina.
But on a deeper level, it also speaks to the breadth of Limestone's available programs and degree paths. Whether a student is looking to participate in a traditional Day Campus Program or earn a degree through and Online Program, Limestone provides those options. For students seeking a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Social Work, Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Master of Business Administration or Master of Social Work degree, Limestone stands ready to deliver that range of options.
Those choices speak to Limestone's mission to educate students, in a nurturing environment, from diverse backgrounds, in the liberal arts and selected professional disciplines. Limestone University offers opportunities for personal and professional growth to individuals who may find access to higher education difficult.
With the new logo and branding, our priority is to create a look for the University that is creative, cohesive, and able to effectively convey the Limestone story across numerous platforms.
When to Use the Tagline
The new Limestone University logo with the tagline is an opportunity to say something bold about ourselves that differentiates us from other universities. Through consistent use, we build the strength and equity of our tagline.
Recruitment Communications (Prospective Student)
A general rule of thumb is to use the logo with tagline whenever possible, especially in communications that target an audience outside of he University. For example, use the Limestone University logo with tagline in advertising, on our website, in view books, or in other recruiting materials that can benefit from the tagline.
Retainment Communications (Current Student)
The general rule of thumb is to use the logo with tagline whenever possible to reinforce the benfit of remaining a student at Limestone University. For example, campus posters, flyers, course information, financial aid, student housing communications, letterheads, and more can benefit from the logo with tagline.
